Mount Pleasant Mining Operation Site Tour

As a follow onto the Hunter Valley mining erosion and sediment control/rehabilitation fundamentals workshop IECA Aust and the Hunter Coal Environment Group (HCEG) will be hosting a site tour of the Mount Pleasant Operation. The site tour will allow participants an opportunity to observe current mining operations and various rehabilitation areas of different ages and vegetation types. The tour will include viewing several completed rock drain and progressive rock drain construction works.

Event Date: Friday 23^rd May.
Event Time: 9am to 12noon.
Pickup and drop off point: Muswellbrook Train Station car park, Market St.
Cost: IECA Members $75, Non Members $99
PDH credits: 3
PPE: Full PPE required. Including hardhat and safety glasses.
