2020 Environmental Excellence Awards Expression of Interest
IECA Australasia is aware that members of our industry are extremely busy and find it difficult to commit the time needed to prepare a detailed submission for the IECA Australasia Environmental Excellence Awards. We are also acutely aware that our members are working on some amazing projects with industry best practice outcomes and new innovations to manage difficult situations.
The purpose of our Awards is to recognise and celebrate the amazing achievements of our members and the wider industry.
To help encourage individuals and organisations to enter our Awards program we now have a 2-stage process.
Stage 1: Expression of interest.
This is a short document briefly outlining the project, innovation, or contribution to the ESC industry. EOIs will be reviewed by the Awards Committee.
Stage 2: Invitation to provide detailed submission.
EOIs deemed to be of note will be invited to submit a more detailed document.
Winners are usually announced at the annual conference dinner unfortunately due to Covid-19 IECA Aust. are not holding the conference in 2020. The Awards Committee are currently investigating other options to announce and celebrate the 2020 finalists and winners.

Key dates:
Expressions of interest open: Wednesday 1st April
Expressions of Interest close: Tuesday 5th May 2020
Detailed submissions invited: Thursday 28th May 2020
Details submission closing date: Tuesday 7th July 2020
Finalists announced: Friday 14th August 2020
Winners announced at an event appropriate to the social situation at the time: 23/24 September
